Durable, printed BOPP packaging built around your product
Selmore manufactures and supplies BOPP bags in bulk for businesses across India that need packaging strong enough for regular handling and sharp enough to carry their brand well.
Each bag is built by laminating a BOPP (Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene) film onto a woven polypropylene base — the woven layer carries the load, the laminated film carries the print.
That combination is why BOPP woven sacks have become the default for products that travel through several hands before reaching a shelf: they hold up during transport and storage while still giving a clean, glossy surface for branding, product details and graphics.
The bag starts as woven polypropylene fabric, the same base used in standard PP sacks, and gains a biaxially oriented film layer through lamination. The result is noticeably harder to puncture or fray than plain woven packaging, with a smooth surface that takes multi-colour printing far better than uncoated fabric.
The woven layer is built for rough handling through transport and storage.
The laminated surface holds logos, colour blocks and fine print without spreading.
Not a generic template — the specification follows what actually goes inside the bag.
Not merely functional in a warehouse — packaging that reads as a considered choice.
The film protects the ink, so branding survives weeks in storage or transit.
Construction, denier and GSM vary with what is going inside the bag. A 25 kg rice sack and a 5 kg feed bag do not need the same specification — we build to the load rather than defaulting to one standard.
For most products the bag is the packaging — there is no outer carton or label to carry the brand. That puts real weight on how the bag looks and reads.
Because the film gives a smoother base than raw woven fabric, print comes out sharper and holds its colour longer — useful if your bags sit in storage or transit for weeks before sale.
Different products put different demands on a bag — weight, moisture exposure, stacking height, filling method. BOPP laminated woven bags flex across most of these because the woven base can be tuned for load while the lamination stays consistent for print quality.
| Sector | Typical use |
|---|---|
| Rice & agri-commodities | Retail and bulk rice bags, grain packaging |
| Seeds & agro-inputs | Seed bags, agro-chemical packaging |
| Food & FMCG | Bulk food ingredient packaging |
| Animal feed | Poultry, cattle and pet feed bags |
| Fertiliser | Bulk fertiliser sacks |
| Industrial materials | Bulk powders, granules, construction inputs |
The right specification — GSM, lamination thickness, stitching, valve or open-mouth style — should follow product weight, your filling process and how the bags will be transported. Not a generic price list.
BOPP lamination is not only for bulk sacks. For carry bags and garment packaging, the same film gives a glossy, retail-ready finish that plain woven or basic poly bags cannot match.

Size, gusset, handle type and print area are built around the product being packed — a garment bag and a promotional carry bag will not share a specification even when both use BOPP lamination.

Most commonly for rice, seeds, agricultural produce, animal feed and FMCG packaging — essentially anywhere a product needs a bag that is both physically strong and printable for branding.
Regular PP woven bags are uncoated fabric — functional but limited for printing. The BOPP version adds a laminated film layer on top, which gives a smoother surface for sharper, longer-lasting print and a more finished look.
Yes. We print your logo, brand colours, product information and any statutory or handling details directly onto the laminated surface, matched to your existing brand artwork where possible.
Yes. Size, GSM and construction are specified based on your product's weight, filling method and required capacity — we do not restrict this to fixed standard sizes.
Yes — it is one of the most common applications. The woven base handles the weight and handling, while the laminated surface keeps branding and weight or MRP declarations sharp.
Bag size, product type, approximate order quantity, printing requirements, preferred construction and delivery location. That is enough for us to put together an accurate quote.
